I'm trying to install the Beta 2 of Vista in to a Virtual PC and am failing miserably. I was wondering whether anyone has any tips. I started out trying to install from a DVD I cut from the download. That got to 3% in around 50 minutes, so I canned that and installed Daemon Tools to emulate a DVD drive.

had a similar experience with DAEMON Tools on the same machine and also had hard time getting rid of them. Thanks. After installing Vista Home Premium, I am unable to view any pictures in my pictures folder. I cannot even use a background picture. The folder is set to READ ONLY and I cannot change it.

Clone drive works fine in vista at least in the 32 bit version install clone drive now go device manager under "other" YOU Should have a new device SCSI or something... right click My son tells me that Vista doesn't support virtual drives. Is this right? No more moody ISO mounts with Daemon Tools? Surely not!
